Q. What is Color Me Mine?

A. Color Me Mine is a paint-your-own pottery studio that offers a unique and creative experience for all ages. Color Me Mine offers a fun activity for all ages.  

Q. How does it work?

A. Pick out your favorite unpainted ceramic piece from our wide range of pieces selection, select your colors, and let your creativity flow as you paint your design. Our friendly staff is available to offer guidance, painting tips, and techniques to help you create your masterpiece.

Q.What are your hours? 

A. We are open Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Q. Do I need a reservation at Color Me Mine Edina? 

A. No. We are a walk-in studio.

Q. How much does it cost to paint pottery? 

A. The cost is the price of the pottery plus a $10 studio fee. The studio fee covers all materials, paints glazing and firing. Pottery pricing starts at $20 on up. The average cost per person usually runs about $35.

Q. How long does it take to get my pottery back and will you hold it if I can’t come to pick up right away?

A. It takes 7 -10 days after the day that you paint for your pottery to be ready for pick up. We will contact you when it is ready. We hold pottery for 30 days after we contact you for pick up.

Q. Can I paint at home? 

A. Yes! Our studio would happily wrap up a piece of your choice with up to 5 paint colors for $10 plus the price of pottery. You can paint at home and bring it back for firing. We use underglazes as paints as they are specifically made for creating colorful ceramics. Any paint other than the CMM Edina paint provided used on the piece will result in being unable to fire in the kiln.
